Notelinux -- Notelinux is a list for discussing freesoft, and related topics

About Notelinux

The notelinux list is meant for discussions of GNU/Linux, including unix in general, and the voice/braille note products from Humanware: http://www.humanware.com/en-usa/products/braille_and_speech/braillenotes
Topics covered range from using the braille/voice note with various unix programs, to the porting of either the linux kernel and/or a GNU/Linux distribution, or a flavor of unix, such as NetBSD to these products.
This list is not affiliated in any way with Humanware.
If you are a programmer, and would like to join the developers list, you may get instructions on how to do so by browsing to: http://www.gregn.net/pipermail/notelinux/2003-June/000050.html To subscribe to the developers list, visit http://www.gregn.net/mailman/listinfo/notelinux-devel. However, before subscribing, please take note of the requirement
to introduce yourself mentioned in the previously
referred to instructions.
If you would be willing/able to provide braille/voicenote units, new or older, for the developers to work with, please let us know. Any further work on this project is contingent on the developers having
units to work on.
